TwonkyMedia manager is open, standards-based software that supports more devices and platforms than any other digital media server. That means that you don’t have to stick with one brand when you’re buying electronics devices.

With TwonkyMedia manager, you can access online content on Flickr™, Photobucket™, Picassa™, YouTube™ and SHOUTcast™. TwonkyMedia manager works with the largest media collections-more than 100,000 files are no problem-and is capable of streaming multiple high-definition video feeds at once.

Windows Media Center + XBOX360 = Live RPM RADIO!

admin
07/27/09 20:22:50

Media Center may be savvy when it comes to TV, but as a music manager it needs work. For starters, it's painfully slow at loading large music collections. If your library contains more than a few hundred songs, it can take several minutes before you're able to kick-start the digital jukebox. Unfortunately, there's no easy remedy for that, other than to hope Microsoft fine-tunes the tune system in the next version of Media Center. In the meantime, you can overcome a few other My Music problems and limitations--most notably the lack of a playlist editor and support for Shoutcast streams.

Johnny
04/09/10 07:23:55

With friend adding on social websites not being what it used to be. Many artist and publicity specialist are asking themselves; "How do we get our music out there now"?

An old form of media-casting almost as old as the Internet it's self has emerged and is helping fill that void by presenting music to people in a different way. Tireless individuals are devoting their free time to spreading metal vie online radio. Your probably seeing several new friends on Myspace and Facebook presenting themselves as such.

Online radio is becoming hugely popular with accessibility becoming easier. Broadcasting has now become open to cell phones over the last couple of years. Mobile laptops are becoming more common and you're hearing these stations everywhere. You may not even know it. People also like that you can interact with these stations while "stream jocks" are live on the air talking to fans. This is also easier for bands to meet new fans faster by joining live chats and supporting these stations. The fact is all of them take note and tend to play your music more. Bringing your fans over most assuredly gets you an on air interview in most cases. We all share the love or try too.

RPM-Bands has been working to make this a little easier by giving all metal radio stations a place in our community site. If you don't mind, take some time and visit the link below. You will find a list of metal stations we have invited over to our website

We have also added a new easier way for you to make connections and friends. Check the new "add friend or fan" link in their network boxes and introduce yourselves. They will appreciate it.
